Yeah, they were cars of the sea and or lake. I see a few up at Lake Tahoe mixed in with the the other wooden boats.

My grandparents had a cabin in Agate Bay, just down the road from Tahoe City. They have a huge winter boat storage there and in the summer you could see tons of them. I’ve never been in one, people we know had newer boats, I have been in a modern Donzi.

I love the old boats. I have a few family friends with them. They are amazing.
